The Cellar At Duckworth’s

CHARLOTTE, NC - 4,700 SF

What began as the basement of a 1912 two-story brick building with great architectural bones was transformed into an exclusive full-service restaurant and bar serving only the finest craft beers and cocktails. As you enter through a speakeasy, barn wood door, you are greeted by a custom, reclaimed wood-wrapped hostess stand with oversized weathered zinc finished lighting. A 55 degree tempered, all glass cooler wrapped in custom hot-rolled steel panels showcases over 900 cases of vintage beer. A 14-foot poured-in-place custom concrete community table is a center showpiece while diamond-tufted brown leather banquettes with solid distressed walnut tables are flanked by traditional red leather chairs with nail-heads. Original exposed brick walls sealed with existing plaster create the backdrop for the custom reclaimed barn wood bar while filament-bulb cage lights set the mood for a nostalgic experience that garners the days of prohibition.
