Located in the heart of Southend, one of Charlotte’s most popular vibrant entertainment districts, is District Flats at Summit and Church.  This 350,000sf project is located on a very tight urban infill site that required Type III wood frame construction to be used to capture the needed density in five floors of wood framing. There are multiple versions of studio, one bedroom and two bedroom designed unit floor plans.  The amenities include a very modern clubhouse, fitness center, 2 story leasing center and 2 distinctive courtyard gardens with a swimming pool deck.  The interiors of the project boasts a very modern contemporary feel with the décor and furnishings.  The exterior is made up of brick and hardi siding.  The entry corner of the leasing center has a two story exterior entry loggia displaying sculptural concrete artwork.  This iconic corner stands vertical at over 7 stories tall covered in metal clad with vertical and horizontal accent reveals.  This building will be a beacon at night viewed from the many office towers in uptown Charlotte just blocks away.
